| Name: Josefu Josuta Shinobi Position: A-rank Jounin Village: Konoha Age: 19 Chakra Nature(s): Water, Earth Personality: Josefu is a hotheaded guy who likes to pick fights with people who pick on others or just seriously pisses him off. He's especially violent against people who insult him by calling him an idiot, moron, or just any word that downgrades his intellect. He has a bit of a short temper and can be angered when rubbed the wrong way. Although not one to be filled with full murderous intent, he will beat people to a bloody pulp. He does not fight women or girls, unless it's absolutely necessary. He takes great care of his family and friends, and if any of them are injured severely, he'll not stop until he hunts down the guy responsible for it and beat the living shit out of him. When provoked and enraged, his violence may end up in killing the person who caused it. He'll be completely bloodlusted and thrash himself on them, wrecking them apart. Josefu is a family man. He loves his family above all, because he was born without a mother or father figure in his memorable childhood, and the few members of what's left of his "family" took care of him and gave him all of his love. Josefu is very playful and often tries out tricks on his opponents in the middle of battle just to show off or to humiliate them if they wronged him in a way. He's very mischevious and gets into trouble. He has a strong heart and a huge will as well as motivation to fight. Josefu is quite a cocky guy and probably overconfident occasionally. He shows off with a happy smile. The primary aspect of his character is how his personality fits into his fighting style. As a mischevious guy who likes to fight, Josefu can be described as a "clever trickster" or "tricky genius". He's very crafty because of how he always incorporates many tactics in his fighting style. He has a brilliant tactical mind, always inventing clever tricks on the spot to win a fight. He also doesn't mind fooling around even if his opponent is far stronger than him. He has a cunning aptitude to always predict an opponent's next move and to stay ahead of them. Josefu tends to speak out but can be serious about training. History: - Spoiler:
Growing Up: Josefu was born in Konohagakure to Jouji Josuta and Kanade Kotobuki. As a Josuta, he inherited the Ripple (Hamon). However, right before he was a year old, his parents died in a tragic arson incident. He was raised by his uncle (on his father's side) Shuu, and grandmother, Nana. In his childhood, he often played with plastic ball crackers. He would play with many types of crackers, throw them, and toss them around. As a child, he was playful and mischevious, often pranking his friends, doing tricks, and tricking his family. Even as he entered the ninja academy at the age of 6, he still played with the crackers. There, he got the name "Jojo", which is the first two letters of his first and last name. He prefers to be called Jojo still, as everyone calls him that. When he decided to become a ninja to uphold the honor of his Josuta family and to protect his grandmother and uncle, he studied ninjutsu, taijutsu, and excelled very well in his weaponry classes. He was also good at absorbing information on academic subjects. He graduated from the academy at age 7 relatively as a genius.
The Start of a Genius: When he became part of a three-man cell, his uncle decided that Josefu was old enough to learn the Ripple. Josefu learned about the unique breathing that the Josuta have and that they have access to a unique power known as the "Ripple" (Hamon). First, they tested out what his elemental affinity was, which was water. Then Josefu took on chakra training to be able to utilize water chakra and understand chakra flow. Within one month, Josefu was able to use his first Suiton jutsu. The basic Ripple training began for Josefu. He first learned how to control, manipulate, and master his breathing after his diaphragms had been stimulated. Through MANY breathing exercises, Josefu endured rigorous training to be able to pace his breathing as he liked and to increase his stamina. Once he got the grasp of the foundation of using the Ripple in three months, he was able to run a kilometer without a change in breathing for at least 5 minutes. Finally, he collected the solar energy from the Sun into his body, utilized his chakra and converted it to the water element, thus producing a "ripple." Finally able to use the Ripple, Josefu saw himself as a member of the clan. He learned to walk on water with it and to apply minor explosive attacks as an offense function with the Ripple. But what got him started on his path to being a genius was his uncle telling him the conducitivity of the Ripple. It was then that Josefu decided to use the crackers he had enjoyed for so long and use it with the Ripple. Once he got a pair of steel crackers, it took him a few days to be able to channel the Ripple through his crackers, after coating it with oil, to deliver actual damage. While his Ripple training occured, Josefu studied shinobi tactics alot. The very topic fascinated him immensely, especially one with a love for fighting as him. Josefu often had a violent side to him when he's pissed off. On his missions with his teammates, he would practice using clever tactics based off of what he studied (slightly modified by him) with Ripple crackers. Thus, he developed his signature move, the Ripple Cracker Volley. He practiced and trained his Ripple and crackers until at the age of 11, he went on to the Chunin Exams. The written portion was something he took pride in figuring out the answers (since he didn't know any of them). He concealed a magnifying glass in his hand to copy off the answers of the person next to him. When it came to the Forest of Death, Josefu had the advantage as he previously scouted the place multiple times before the exams began. Therefore, he had the preperation of traps and food. He often tripped up many people with his tactics, usually taking more scrolls than he needed. At the fighting portion, Josefu first showcased his Ripple crackers to a wide audience, which he showed off haughtily. However, his opponent was stronger than he thought and insulted him. Josefu got violent and went mad at him, flinging his crackers around without a regard for their life. Eventually, the crackers exploded right in the face of his opponents. Although they did not die, they were very near it and had to be rushed to the hospital. Despite his carelessness, his tactical power was deemed enough to pass off as a Chunin.
Cunning, Josuta!: When he became a Chunin, his uncle saw that he had the potential to be a great ninja. Therefore, he worked with Josefu on improving his prowess. Most of the water jutsu he knows today was because of the jutsu training with his uncle. Shu began the intermediate Ripple training with Josefu. The two of them worked on more breathing exercises, to the point that Josefu can run 10 kilometers without having a change in breath for at least one hour. Once this stamina level was achieved, Shu taught Josefu how to produce more powerful Ripples up to A-rank. Along the way, Josefu also had endurance training so that he can take the backlashes of the Ripple explosions in case something veered off. To strengthen his physical body as Josefu liked to engage in hand-to-hand combat, he took extra Taijutsu classes and sparred with his comrades and uncle. He learned Konohagakure's Strong Fist style and other martial arts while improving his strength, endurance, speed, and reflexes. He became skilled and strong enough that he was able to combat his masters and match them in terms of skill and power. At the age of 14, he became a very skilled Taijutsu practitioner in his own right. Because of his physical and Ripple training, he was able to use the "Ripple Rattle" style. Incorporating the Ripple into hand-to-hand combat, Josefu turned his body into a dangerously lethal weapon. Through some jabs and kicks, Josefu can cause parts of the opponent's body to explode literally right in their face. He realized the versatility of the Ripple and explored the limitless possibilities of it. He grasped the idea that the Ripple's function is to turn mundane and simple objects to deadly weapons. At the age of 15, he experienced a tragedy. While out on an expedition to the outskirts of the Land of Fire, his uncle Shu was killed. Rumors had it that it was due to a supposedly old friend from Shu's past, Straizo, who killed him. Josefu was enraged and grieved for many days, ignoring his friends. Then, Straizo encountered Josefu in a restaurant. Although Josefu had a picture of Straizo that he swore will go all-out on if he were to see his face, the Straizo that appeared before him was much, much younger. Straizo mummered to him that he was going to kill him. Josefu realized the familiarity of his assailant and launched three spiked kunai at him. As everyone evaucated from the restaurant, Josefu declared his rage on the murderer. However, he found that Straizo was much too powerful of an opponent. Somehow, he had abandoned his humanity and transended into a monster. And using his new strength, he would crush Josefu. Therefore, Josefu invented his "last-resort" tactic. Run away. Josefu ran for several hundred meters until he arrived at a lake. As Straizo engaged him, Jsoefu pretended to be severely wounded. As he leapt at Josefu, he performed a judo grapple-kick and launched Straizo over him and into the lake. As Straizo emerged from it, he saw Josefu running away. "Running away again, Josefu?" he mocked. Josefu pointed towards Straizo's hip and Straizo looked at it. There was an exploding paper bomb. Straizo chucked it away far into the lake, so that the explosion won't harm him. But as he did so, Straizo heard a loud sound coming from his back. Josefu grinned, yelling that he's running from the explosion back at Straizo. At that moment, Straizo noticed that taped on his back, was 20 paper bombs! The lock of each bomb had a very thin, invisible string tied to the paper bomb that Straizo threw, so that they'll all be released simultaneously. He had been tricked! With no time to react and throw them all away, Straizo yelled in despair and blew apart in a big explosion that would have caught Josefu too had he not run away and some of the water absorbed part of the impact. After the fight and his uncle had been avenged, Josefu was hospitalized to treat his injuries. When medics sent pictures of scans of his body, the Josuta found a rare tiny appendage in his lungs, even miraculous within the Josuta. It was the appendage that allowed certain Josutas to turn solar energy to a "melting" Ripple, rather than an explosive one. As of age, Josefu's talent had been revealed. However, to make use of the ability, Josefu has to be trained. Shu cannot do it, as he does not have the ability and he's dead. His grandmother cannot teach him, as she cannot use the Ripple due to her age and has forgotten most about it. There was only one other "exceptional" Josuta, and that was the leader of the Josuta clan: Jorune. Although Jorune was elder, he was not yet too old to lose his keenness and sharpness in the Ripple. Jorune trained Josefu in manipulating the Ripple on a different level than the other Josutas. Within three weeks of training, Josefu was able to convert solar energy to melting energy and apply it through the Ripple. It was so strong that it even vaporized paper. He continued to train on his own and by the age of 16, he mastered the rare Ripple. At this time, Josefu also developed his technique: Hermit Purple after extensive research of jutsu development. He learned how to safely flow the Ripple through it, literally turning his body to a lethal weapon. He also advanced so far in his Ripple breathing that he was able to use Tenryu no Jutsu to a degree for healing-based purposes. He also developed his second affinity and trained Doton jutsu. Whilst training in a versatile environment, Josefu's tactical/crafty genius developed. He was extremely skilled in weaponry, often practicing for days on end with thin wires/ropes and using chakra to manipulate them and turn them into nets as if it were with telekinesis. He'd then flow the Ripple through it, hitting anyone that touches the string. He also got good at shurikenjutsu, kunai, throwing, aim, and marksmanship. In particular, he started to have all sorts of tools sealed in scrolls and then he used summoning to conjour them up in battle. It was his idea of using anything he can to fight and win that build his ninja way. Ripple Master Jojo: The elders of the Josuta clan decided the time is ripe for Josefu to utilize a very difficulty Ripple technique. The "opposite" poles. Very few in the Ripple clan has been able to handle the technique, due to its necessary precision and natural skill. However, after witnessing Jorune demonstrate the Muko Kyokuten once, Josefu was able to learn the technique in just 4 days, an incredible, unprecendented achievement for any Ripple user. He did this by training near an oil waterfall for many hours. By practicing focusing a Ripple onto one point of the body for a lengthy amount of time, then move all that energy into another point, then get both of them focused at two separate ends of his body, and finally being able to convert a "positive" wave and a "negative" wave simultaneously, Josefu was able to pass through the waterfall without getting drenched in the oil. However, the problem for all users of this technique, is that the user will feel like they're being crushed when using the technique, because of the attraction between positive-negative. When Josefu was able to learn this technique, it was decided that he was ready to start and complete his true and final Ripple training. This true Ripple training was the advanced stage for Ripple practitioners who bordered on being elites and experts. One with completion of this training was genuinely able to be called a "ripple master". The difference between this and other trainings is, it's independent. Although help will be required to learn all Ripple techniques, completing the final training was something to be done alone and has no real requirements other than the fact that the user must be recognized by everyone in the clan and by themself to be a full-fledged Ripple elite. To start off, Josefu tried to master the Muko Kyokuten by resisting the pressure on him whenever he uses it. He blasted himself with his powerful Suiton jutsu until he use the Ripple technique perfectly fine. Next, Josefu ran through and mastered the basics. He forwarded the ability to use the Ripple to walk on awkward surfaces. Josefu was able to touch pointy areas safely. He also did alot of breathing exercises to strengthen his Ripple and stamina, to the point that he can now run 10 kilometers without fatigue or changing breathing patterns. He performed one-finger push-ups while having his feet off the ground and stretched above his shoulders, while training and doing physical workouts on the top of a tall pillar. He also attempted to utilize the "Overdrive", which was basically the most powerful Ripple output that can be generated by a Ripple user. However, he was not able to get it right. He was interrupted while on his training to go on a S-rank mission. Josefu was sent on a mission to take on a group of elite combatants known as the Pillar Men. They were a four-man team of fighters said to have been the repeated reincarnations of advanced primitive humans millennia ago. They can access their soul and "become" their reincarnation, gaining all that experience, powers/abilities, and essentially becoming the ultimate combat geniuses. With his pal Caesar, he tracked down the Pillar Men and confronted the weakest and youngest member of their group, Santana. He defeated a released Santana alone, but with very high difficulty and was left nearly-dead and would have bled to death had it not been Caesar to bandage the wounds. While resting, they were ambushed by the rest of the Pillar Men. The 3rd oldest, Wham, attacked them. A very skilled Fuuton user, and when releasing his reincarnations, have been using it ever since ninjas started to use them, Wham was an incredible combat genius with a tactical mind that Josefu failed many times to overcome. With it, it makes it impossible for the two to approach Wham without getting ripped to shreds. However, Caesar sacrificed his life and used his most powerful bubble technique to distract Wham and sack his defenses. Using that opening, Josefu launched a powerful Ripple attack on Wham and obliterated him. Josefu mourned the lose of his friend, but then the 2nd oldest member, ACDC, taunted Caesar's "pathetic suicide" and insulted Josefu. This enraged Josefu to his limit, and he used whatever of his strength left to defeat ACDC. But he realized that he cannot be rash, for when fighting him, ACDC revealed his millennia-old affinity with Katon, which allowed him to heat his blood and body up to 500 degrees, also preventing Josefu from touching him. To defeat him, Josefu used nigh-invisible strings to try to tangle ACDC and hit him with the Ripple before they get melted. As he was finishing up the net, ACDC declared that he saw what Josefu was planning all along and cut the string, severing the links between them. He stepped towards Josefu, ready to kill him. However, to ACDC's surprise, Josefu lifted his hand, and the string tangled ACDC! "What??!! How?!" he had asked. Josefu revealed to him that he actually used two different strings (one being thinner than the other) and tied both of them up, then he formed the same net for both but the thinner string stayed behind ACDC and the thicker one stayed in front of him, so that ACDC would notice only the one in front of him and cut it, assuming that only one net was formed. Josefu flowed the Ripple through the string and melted ACDC, revealing his latent Ripple for the first time in combat. Then, Josefu faced the strongest, smartest, and oldest Pillar Man: Kaaz. Kaaz admired Josefu's talent, for he had defeated three Pillar Men each with the experience and minds of many past lives that concentrated on fighting and tactics. After saying that, Kaaz blitzed Josefu. Josefu was shocked at his inability to react to Kaaz, the fastest person he has fought to date. Knowing that he's facing someone much faster than himself, Josefu formed a net made of his thinnest material and flowed the Ripple through it. Kaaz used a Suiton to cover the area in water, destroying the net used. Then, he blitzed Josefu again, this time he struck him in the gut. Josefu choked. He had lost his breathing! Kaaz revelaed that he had fought the Ripple clan for centuries in his past lives and that he knows all about the Ripple; strengths and weaknesses. By significantly hurting his lungs, breathing control is lost, and the Ripple is rendered useless. Kaaz took the time to smack Josefu around and beat him nearly to death for killing his comrades. Gasping for one, just one breath and cligning on to dear life, Josefu went wild and flung a series of wires, kunai, and shurikens, none of which hit Kaaz. He then launched a Suiton dragon at him, but Kaaz stopped it and prepared to re-direct it back at Josefu. It was then that Josefu remembered what his uncle had done to begin his Ripple training. He struck the muscles of where his diaphragms were located, stimulating them, and his lungs were back into function and he was breathing again. Unaware that Josefu had regain his breathing, Kaaz sent the dragon back at Josefu, who took the full blunt of the attack. When he got up, formed in his hands, was a mini-water torrent. Josefu threw the torrent at Kaaz, who wanted to catch it and throw it back at Josefu, hard enough to knock him out. But when Kaaz touched the torrent, his entire arm exploded and blew off. Josefu had infused the ripple through his Suiton! As Kaaz was distracted, Josefu, filled with his maddest temper and an explosion of violence and anger upon reaching his highest breaking point and far beyond, rushed towards Kaaz with a tight, clenched fist and smacked it right in Kaaz's face while yelling, "RIPPLE OVERDRIVEEEEE!!!!". His final Ripple attack, blew up Kaaz's entire body to the point he was nothing but a puddle of blood left and cratered the ground below them. When Josefu woke up, with heavy scars all over his body, he realzied he had survived the fight and beated the Pillar Men. He took one last grief moment for Caesar, in disbelief that his friend was sacrificed for the mission, and began his long journey back to Konoha. With Caesar's death, a new power awoken within Josefu. The build-up and release of his anger has unlocked any restrictions on him from generating his most powerful Ripple. When he received his reward for the completion of his mission, Josefu resumed his advanced Ripple training to become a full-fledged Ripple warrior. First, he demonstrated his Overdrive in front of the entire clan (though with some distance as otherwise everyone would have been blown up), proof that his Ripple has reached its full potential. Then, he was able to quickly apply it in his melting Ripple, proving that he has perfected the Ripple's attack power. Then, within two weeks, he mastered the "opposite poles" technique, being able to use it perfectly fine without the side effects and apply it effectively anyway he wants. When he demonstrated his progress in his Ripple training to the entire clan again, it was clear to them that a Ripple expert stood in front of them. At the age of 18, Josefu was promoted to the rank of Jounin and given the title of "Ripple master" within the clan.
Modern Arc: As of now, Josefu is the same as always. Although now he has finished his Ripple training and ranks among the village's fighting force, he's still quirky and mischevious. He is known as the "Hot-Haired Tactical Hunter" around the world for his skill in battle tactics and fighting. It's said that Josefu has familiar access to over a thousand tactics in the world. He currently resides in Konohagakure.

Once more, V had broken through the Raikage's Horin technique. The electrical discharge that amplified his sword's cutting power dispelled, leaving V with nothing but his bare swords. The strain on his muscles was beginning to fade away. "These failures are rather unbecoming of you, if I may say so, Lord Raikage. You see....as I hack down every single one of your sparkly ropes, I find myself increasingly more annoyed having to put more effort into each and every stroke. Please, if you may indulge me so, Lord Raikage, do not falter this time". V slowly walked towards the Raikage as he were preparing his jutsu. V was fully confident in his ability to swat away the Horin tendril once more. "Again, Lord Raikage? But sir, you have shown me your hand of tricks!" V made a swift uppercut to parry away the Horin, but just as he did so, the tendril, as if it had a life of its own, stick to his blade and wrapped around it. "Ohhhhhh..... I see....so this is the bind that you speak of, my good Raikage."
V stabbed his left Ninjato upon the ground, knowing what is too come next. Using his hand, V caught the swirling left tendril with his fucking hand, allowing the tendril to slice open a cut on his palm. He then wrapped the Horin voluntarily around his hand, making it curl down his wrist. Keeping a firm grip, V then violently pulled on the left tendril, in hope of dragging the Raikage towards him. "Lovely rope I've got here!" But then, V could see the electricity starting to connect to each other from his blade to his hand. Reacting to this, V stabbed his right Ninjato down to the ground and placed his right hand 3 feet besides it, and stomped on the connecting electricity. The tendrils succeeded in forming a single ring to bind targets, but V had prevented the ring from shrinking so that his hand and blade won't come into contact with each other. He exerted more effort in stepping on the Horin ring, making it look as if he were squashing it...
